How to create a Firm Price Request?

This article explains how to make a firm price request in the STX Climate Tech platform.

In the STX Climate Tech platform, you can easily create a Firm Price Request (FPR) to obtain a binding price offer based on your specific product, region, expected consumption period, and volume. The steps below guide you through the process.

  1. Access the price request form by selecting the pencil icon located in the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Click the "Get Firm Offer" button to proceed.
  3. The Firm Price Request form consists of four parts:
    1. Consumption and Volume
Here, you shall specify the location for energy delivery, the intended consumption period and the required volume in MWh.
Please note: only one location can be selected per request.
    2. Technology and Sourcing
Here, you shall specify a preferred generation technology for the energy supplied, if you have any. If desired, you can also reference any Corporate Climate Tech initiatives your organization participates in and indicate a target price per 1MW—those fields are optional. Additionally, you have the option to include a note for the STX representative managing your request.
    3. Delivery and Redemption
Here, you shall specify your preferred latest delivery date by selecting one of the available options in the form. If you wish for STX to handle certificate cancellation/redemption on your company’s behalf, please make your selection on the right side of this section. Should you have any additional notes, you may include them in the "Delivery remarks" field.
Please note: STX can NOT cancel certificates on your behalf in Austria, Germany, Greece and Italy.
    4. Offer Validity and Invoicing
Here, you shall specify the validity date and time of the price request, thus fixing the point in time when the price will be determined. You shall provide the invoicing entity to be able to submit the form.
  4. Once done, submit the form by clicking the button with the label 'Request Firm Offer'.
  5. The request will be visible in the list of submitted price requests. For more information, please refer to this article.
